CRAFT: The colourful waves of the tie and dye fabric, has the whole world drowning in its sheer beauty. A typical striped pattern resembling a wave is called Lehariya which literally means wave in Rajasthani. To create lehariya fabric, lengths of plain fabric are tied diagonally with threads to resist the flow of colour and then submerged in dyes. The lack of colour in resist areas leave glorious wave like impressions on the fabric.
